The desk is an operating agentic system — built, governed and run by one design authority. We are not publishing papers and we don't run a programme; the time goes into building. But we are interested in hearing from people doing serious work in agentic systems, in investing or anything else, and open to the occasional collaboration.
Autonomous or semi-autonomous systems with defined roles, governance and a human holding the approvals — operating on real stakes, not demos.
Pipelines that work from primary documents, keep every figure traceable, and build adversarial review in rather than bolting it on.
We take on a collaboration when it is well defined and the fit is obvious. Our time is mostly spent building, so the bar is high — and a good first message clears most of it.
A human design authority specifies intent, roles, authority, escalation and governance — what the system must guarantee. Engineering resolves from AI to that specification. The person stays responsible for what the system is; the models are responsible for how it is built, and are interchangeable. If that is how you work too, we will understand each other quickly.
Write to desk@liquidblack.ai. The best first message says what you are building, what stage it is at, and what you would want from us. Replies come from a principal and may take a little while — the desk comes first.
